The course will cover crag and route finding, belaying a leader, leading and placing runners on a route and safely lowering off a route.
Different venues can also be visited which are suited to particular styles of climbing.

This is the original and main style of climbing in the UK. The lead (front) climber places all the necessary equipment (protection) to safeguard a route, which is then removed by the second (rear) climber.
Spend the day seconding single pitch trad routes in a fantastic setting with an instructor who knows the area and can choose the best routes to experience this type of climbing. Whilst seconding you will get the opportunity to learn how to belay a lead climber safely, see how protection equipment is placed and removed from the rock and be safe at the top of the crag.
