Performance Coaching
Do you want to improve your climbing? Is there some factor that is holding you back from moving to the next level?
It could be you want to climb more efficiently without getting pumped whilst placing gear or working out the next sequence of moves. Do you find a particular style of climbing or moves slowing you down and preventing you from reaching your potential?
These courses will coach you to enhance areas of your climbing you feel need improving. Your coach will teach and demonstrate different techniques and skills which you can then put into practice whilst being observed and receive detailed feedback. Whether it is a trad or sport climbing Performance Coaching course, we can help you move to the next level.

There are many factors holding an individual back from reaching their potential in trad climbing. These could be technical such as gear placement or building belays, physical or psychological. The workshop days will be spent looking at strategies to improve and quicken protection selection and placement, build safe (bomber) belays and advanced climbing techniques.
This course is suitable for single or multi pitch trad climbers wanting to improve their overall climbing but aren't sure how to overcome one or more limiting factors.
Swanage Climber
Ratio max 1:2. £175 per day.
Dates: Call to discuss.
Climbing on the big sea cliffs of Swanage is an experience not to be missed. Unfortunately, due to the seriousness of these cliffs and difficulties of access, route finding and escape, many climbers never get the full "Swanage Experience".
This course, tailored to your individual requirements, will provide you with what you need to get the most out of climbing at Swanage. You will be able to second routes that you perhaps would not attempt on your own. It will also include information on route finding, abseil points for different areas and where to climb in various sea states and weather conditions. Techniques such as abseil backups, escaping routes and safeguarding topping out will also be covered.
Equipment
Participants should have their own belay devices, helmets, harnesses and climbing shoes. All other equipment will be provided.
